Atlantis Dubai is to have its grand opening today. There was a light show which was ornamented with 2 gient portraits of His Excelency Sheikh Mohammad and the UAE Flag.?  The grand opening is due to be attended by hundreds of top celebrities from around the world including hollywood & bollywood, and royalty The opening will feature a performance by Australian pop star Kylie Minogue followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

The opening?  night, which is said to be costing around $40 million to stage, will begin with a royal reception hosted by party planner to the stars, Colin Cowie, who, among other big names, has organised several events for US talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra has been chosen as the ‘Goddess of Atlantis’ as part of a money-no-object opening party.
