Dubai, UAE – Emirates Holidays has launched the 2011-2012 Ski & Winter Holidays Brochure with 18 carefully selected destinations across six countries, offering travellers a tantalizing glimpse of idyllic winter getaways from the snow-capped mountains and chic fashion boutiques of St Moritz, Switzerland to the quaint Christmas markets of Munich, Germany.
The brochure embraces the entire winter experience, whether travellers are looking for the adrenaline rush of powder white ski slopes, the romance of a city break blanketed in snow, or the childlike delight of a Bavarian festive fantasy, this year’s brochure has something for everyone.
Last year, Emirates Holidays experienced an increase of over 50 per cent in winter getaways as more families, groups and couples opted for a memorable white Christmas. “The popularity of the winter getaway has continued to increase in Dubai as more and more travellers seek the traditional winter experience in cities that truly exemplify the winter wonderland concept. With the early advance of Eid which reduced the summer holidays for many, we expect winter bookings to be even more popular this year and will continue to grow our destination and hotel portfolio to cater to this growing demand,” commented Frederic Bardin, Senior Vice President of Emirates Holidays.
The wide range of complete tours and bespoke itinerary options across Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Lebanon, the US and Canada provides options for all budgets and tastes, and in the spirit of the season, Emirates Holidays has developed a series of unique packages to enable guests to make the most of their retreat. In addition, Skywards members booking their winter holiday will receive up to 20 per cent bonus miles when they book hotel accommodation for a minimum of three nights.
