The Wait Is Over: Zero Gravity Ends The Year With An Amazing Month Of Parties Including An International Line-up For NYE
Stop everything! Zero Gravity have announced their stellar line-up for December, including One Big Friday’ on the 9th and a huge, eagerly anticipated New Year’s Eve Party. With legendary artists Sam Feldt, Pete Tong, Sub Focus, 2ManyDJs and award-winning electronic duo Chase & Status on the line up, i’s going to be a December to remember.
The month kicks off with the electronic music producer Nick Douwma, better known as ‘Sub Focus‘, playing at Zero Gravity’s renowned ‘Velocity’ Thursday Night on December 1st followed a week later by another installment of ‘One Big Friday’.
One Big Friday
‘One Big Friday’ was born in November 2015 to satisfy the demand for extended day-to-night parties and the dance festivals that followed have seen Lost Frequencies, Oliver Heldens and Markus Schulz to name just a few, behind the poolside decks.
The December 9th installment sees Dutch DJ, producer and man-of-the-moment Sam Feldt alongside the legendary DJ Pete Tong and Mike Mago.
Feldt is best known for his 2015 rework of the classic track ‘Show Me Love’ and his melodic and tantalizing deep house sound is the perfect poolside soundtrack before DJ Pete Tong steps behind the decks for Zero Gravity’s last ‘One Big Friday’ of the year.
Spanning a full 12 hours, from 3pm to 3am, ‘One Big Friday’ is the ultimate poolside festival-style event with back-to-back sets from both international and local artists –alongside fiesta-inspired food sstations and entertainment. And if that’s not enough, the multi-faceted entertainment venue is promising not only a party to end all parties and a special New Year’s Eve night brunch but also a prime viewing spot of the renowned Dubai Fireworks from its impressive beachside location, all framed by the twinkling lights of the Dubai Marina skyline this December 31st.
New Year’s Eve at Zero Gravity
Countdown to 2017 in the most memorable way possible by dancing under the stars to the sounds of Chase & Status, who are best known for their smash hit number one singles such as Hurt You and ‘Sell Me Your Soul’ as well as producing international number 1s such as ‘RIP for British singer Rita Ora. In addition, the twosome have three studio albums under their belt as well as high-profile collaborations with international artists such as Example, Tinie Tempah, Rihanna and Plan B.
Also, included in Zero Gravity’s New Year Eve line-up is 2ManyDJs who will continue to get Dubai in the mood for partying right through until the small hours. With a cult, international following the two DJ brothers from Belgium are known for consistently pushing the boundaries into new and innovative music territory. Their renowned albums displayed a new style of remixing that has set the benchmark for a million imitators. Most recently they created Despacio with James Murphy, a sonic dance experience like no other and something that has been described in key music press as the greatest sound system ever. They have also produced some of the most memorable and cutting edge remixes, including Metronomy, Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, Gorillaz and MGMT.
And on December 31st, they’ll be revving up the Zero Gravity NYE crowd with their beautiful blends and eclectic sets – something not to be missed!
