The most expanssive foods list which is complied by BBC Travel, features signature dishes from around the world, at prices that are as mouth watering as the ingredients.

The 27.321 cocktail of a 55-year-old single malt, served at the Burj Al Arab, will set you back a whopping Dh 27,321, while the Golden Phoenix Cupcake made by Dubai’s Bloombsbury’s Café is relatively cheaper at Dh3,676 each, featuring 23-carat gold sheets as its main ingredient.

Also on the list is the Frrrozen Haute Chocolate from New York (Dh68,733), served with a side of a diamond bracelet; and the relatively cheaper Dh1,076 Japanese wagyu beef burger with truffle butter.

Alternatively, London serves the world’s most expensive seafood soup at their Mayfair restaurant Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, costing Dh595; while Australia holds strong with their Dh5,280 per kg dish of braised abalone with webbings from duck’s feet at their Cantonese restaurant Silks in Melbourne.
