The Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (Getex) was inaugurated today by H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. H.H Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan took peculiar interest and stopped by University of Atlanta’s Stand and he honored the university by accepting a memento presented to him by an official representative.

University of Atlanta is honored to receive an exceptional response from prospective students, existing students and alumni this year at GETEX. The academic counselors of the university were present at the event to answer student’s queries and to help them with the registration process. The early birds received an exclusive early enrolment grant of more $2,000/AED 7,346. This resulted in an overwhelming number of visitors hence the University set a new record of student enrollments in a single day.

GETEX is the largest education event of Middle East and University of Atlanta is participating in it along with many leading schools of the region and around the world. The main participants in this year’s event are Middlesex University London, United Arab Emirates University, King Khalid University, University of Brighton, University of Sharjah, Amity University, American University of Sharjah, American University in Dubai, University of Salford, University of Derby, Canadian University of Dubai, Murdoch University, University of Wollongong in Dubai and University of Debrecen among others.

Hundreds of students from Middle East and elsewhere visited University of Atlanta’s booth and got comprehensive support and advice about pursuing their education and improving their career prospects. Other than students, working adults who wish to improve their job skills also took special interest in the academic programs of the university.
