Where to buy a car in Dubai?
Hello everyone!? I love the friendly environment here and the nice people.? I’m hoping someone can offer some advice.? My company is transferring me to Dubai and I will need to purchase a car once I arrive.? I have heard about some of the car companies (4×4 Motors, Sun City Motors and Al Futtaim Automall) but don’t know much about them.? Has anyone had any experiences with these companies?? Who would you recommend I buy a car from?? I’m looking for something nice to drive (BMW or Mercedes).

Hi Carrera,
I brought a 2001 TT from Al Futaim – it was reasonably priced (1 3rd of the UK second hand price) and it drives lovely.
I was a 2nd hand dealer in the UK so i waited 3 months to find the car i wanted and my advice would be wait until you are definatelly sure the car is ok.
ps – my tt was brought by the previous owner at 4 x 4 motors for 40% more than i paid only 6 months prior to me buying it.

I bought a car from Offroad Motors Dubai (Range Rover) it had only one ignition key, but during the sales pitch the guy said yes he would get a new key, I waited for 9 months and still got no key! My advice to you is; don’t rely on false promises, the help I got after sales was terrible and you really have no come back once its paid for! Make sure you get what you are paying for, some times it may be better to lower your spec of car and buy new, I got my wife a new Hyundai Tucson for 52000 Dirhams and its great!

Hi, I would advice you to check out Arabian Automobiles (Nissan Dealer) in Dubai ‘Preowned Quality cars’. They are genuine, staff competent & knowlegable & cars reasonably priced. OFF ROAD, 4×4 rip u off & their cars are often non GCC vehicles. Please be careful. Automall generally buy Rent a cars & sell.
