Kotova & Borovikov Piano Duo is a unique ensemble of prodigious pianists who have been praised for their dazzling performance, exquisite mastery as well as innovative and expressive creativity. Their repertoire is very diverse: music of different styles and genres from the classics to modern composers. Being the active propagandists of the best examples of piano duos’ music N.Kotova-V.Borovikov perform compositions by I.Bach, W.Mozart, I.Brahms, R.Shuman, F.Liszt, I.Straus, S.Rachmaninov, A.Skrabyn, A.Schnittke, I.Stravinsky, V.Gavrilin etc. They demonstrate spectacular synchronization, play as one and deliver impeccable performance every time.

The extraordinary talent combined with priceless experience and great love for music – therein lay the duo’s success and popularity. Duo has a great popularity locally and internationally, plays in the best concert halls of Belarus, Russian and Europe.

Valery Borovikov is one of the founders of the ensemble and is well-known for his concert transcriptions in various genres and forms: symphonic music, ballet, opera, music for theatre, etc. Some of his works issued by prominent publishing houses. Pianist is a multiple prize-winner of various international music competitions.

Natalia Kotova gives a lot of solo performances and concerts with different orchestras. She possesses excellent artistic talent, wonderful ensemble skill and high professionalism. At present she is also the Assistant Professor at the Special Piano Department of the Belarus State Academy of Music.
