Mad About Dance Studio will be open for young actors and dancers on Saturday the 14th<\/sup>\u00a0of April to audition for a theatrical play,\u00a0“Slumber Party Confessions”\u00a0\u2013 a play that sheds light on real life issues that teenagers currently face.\u00a0The main characters in the play mirror the conflicts and struggles of youngsters, dealing with unrealistic beauty standards, peer pressure, loneliness, body image, depression and the immense influence of social media. The play addresses harsh realities and encourages open discussions and understanding by lightly using humour and dance in the backdrop.<\/p>\n

Mahima Mehta \u2013 Founder of MAD & Producer of SPC\u00a0says,\u00a0“We are extremely excited to showcase this brilliant theatrical play for our audiences, it has drama, emotions, conflicts, comedic timing and an inspiring narrative which is truly relatable for current times!”<\/p>\n

Kalyan Chakravarthy \u2013 Creative Head of KC 24 & Director of SPC\u00a0explains,\u00a0“I have always been passionate about theatre and the performing Arts and I am looking forward to mentoring and training young actors to be confident and expressive on stage, I encourage all aspiring actors to audition!”<\/p>\n

The auditions are open to the public, the age group of actors & dancers must be from 15yrs till 22yrs and all nationalities can apply.<\/p>\n
