Live Nation Middle East confirms that French comedy star, Gad Elmaleh, is set to perform at Dubai Opera on December 11, 2018, as part of The Dream Tour. The highly-anticipated English-language stand-up show will feature his last Netflix special American Dream<\/em> as well as new material about culture shock. Tickets will be available via www.ticketmaster.ae\u00a0<\/a>and www.dubaiopera.com<\/a>starting12:00pmon Wednesday, July 18.<\/p>\n

Said Gad who is now writing his Netflix series Huge in France, \u201cPerforming in English allows me to take my story and my comedy on a worldwide journey, which has been my dream since I was a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

On stage, Gad continues to cement himself as one of the most widely known and beloved stand up comedians working today. In January 2017, he released his latest comedy special Gad Gone Wild<\/em>. The Netflix Original showcased Gad\u2019s impressive multi-lingual ability, as the material was performed in a mix of English and French. Since his move to the United States, Gad has quickly grown from being France\u2019s most popular standup comedian to becoming a global comedy sensation. In 2015, he completed a residency at Joe\u2019s Pub in New York City, which saw him performing to sold-out crowds for more than fifty nights. The impressive run led to a multi-city major comedy tour across the United States, culminating in a sold-out show at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in February 2017.<\/p>\n

Gad also made history by selling out the prestigious Olympia theater hall in Paris for seven consecutive weeks, a feat that had never before been accomplished. He followed the sold-out run with another seven sold-out weeks of shows at the Palais des Sports, a 3,800-seat venue also in Paris.<\/p>\n

As an actor, Gad starred in Woody Allen\u2019s Midnight in Paris<\/em> alongside Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams as well as Steven Spielberg\u2019s directed film The Adventures of Tintin<\/em> as \u201cBen Salaad.\u201dSome of the other movies Gad has starred in are Pattaya, The Midnight Orchestra, Capital, Les Seigneurs, Happiness Never Comes Alone, Jack and Jill, La Rafle, Coco and more.<\/p>\n
