The new menus are part of the restaurants\u2019 commitment to support UAE produce and use the freshest ingredients available.<\/p>\n
Jumeirah Group\u2019s Executive Italian Chef, Claudio Melis said: \u201cFood that has to travel long distances may not contain the same nutrients as fresh vegetables grown locally. Fruits and vegetables harvested locally can be picked when they are at the perfect ripeness, resulting in better flavour and more nutrients. This has a positive impact on local agriculture and a reduced carbon footprint.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dishes introduced in the menus include\u00a0Variazione di Cavolo Nero<\/em>, kale three ways with poached egg and crunchy bread;\u00a0Zucchine e Uovo<\/em>, zucchini puree, goat cheese, poached egg, bread;\u00a0Pollo al Rosmarino<\/em>, rosemary chicken breast, baby spinach, local potatoes, lettuce;\u00a0Sorbetto al Limone e Timo<\/em>, lemon thyme sorbet, plum tomato and vanilla compote and many more.
