The Tour can be a fantastic pathway to success as Brooks has showed with his three Major wins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Belgium\u2019s Thomas Pieters and Italian Francesco Molinari finished one further back than Rahm to share sixth place with the American duo of Justin Thomas and Gary Woodland.\u00a0The\u00a0pair each\u00a0receive 334,712 Race to Dubai points for their\u00a0efforts which sees Molinari extend his lead at the summit of the Race to Dubai Rankings whilst Pieters books his place in the DP World\u00a0Tour Championship after jumping from 37th to 22nd with 1,124,542 points.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I played really well\u00a0this week,&#8221;\u00a0said Pieters\u00a0after his round.\u00a0&#8220;I&#8217;m happy with the week,\u00a0obviously,\u00a0it&#8217;s a tough one to take, but then again I&#8217;ve had a very, very rough year and a half and it&#8217;s nice to play some good golf now.\u00a0So,\u00a0I&#8217;m quite happy.\u00a0It&#8217;s\u00a0just nice to contend.\u00a0I had a feeling like I could win this if I put up something nice and I haven&#8217;t had that feeling in any tournament. It&#8217;s nice to do it here, obviously.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Irishman Shane Lowry\u00a0made a leap in the Race to Dubai Rankings\u00a0after finishing in a tie for 12th, which is his highest finish in 2018. The\u00a031 year<\/p>\n<p>old\u00a0collected 187,747 Race to Dubai points which leaves\u00a0him\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0brink of the Race to Dubai\u2019s top 60 after climbing from 106th to 64th with 447,480 points.<\/p>\n<p>Former Race to Dubai leader Patrick Reed finished missed the cut after he could only manage three over par at the halfway stage. The American remains in second place in the Race to Dubai Rankings with a season total of 3,057,948 points.<\/p>\n<p>Englishman Tommy Fleetwood completes the top three on 2,805.042 points.
