{"id":13286,"date":"2018-08-28T16:14:31","date_gmt":"2018-08-28T12:14:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.dubaicityguide.com\/site\/?p=13286"},"modified":"2018-08-28T16:14:31","modified_gmt":"2018-08-28T12:14:31","slug":"rta-honours-female-leaders-in-celebration-of-emirati-womens-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.dubaicityguide.com\/site\/rta-honours-female-leaders-in-celebration-of-emirati-womens-day\/","title":{"rendered":"RTA Honours Female Leaders In Celebration Of Emirati Women&#8217;s Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Women Committee of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has held a host of events marking the Emirati Women\u2019s Day launched by Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women\u2019s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The Day is celebrated on August 28 to commemorate the establishment of the General Women\u2019s Union in 1975, and this year\u2019s event is themed \u2018Women on the Course of Zayed.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Moaza Al Marri, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication and the Chairperson of Women Committee at RTA, said, \u201cIt is great that our celebrations of the Emirati Women\u2019s Day this year themed \u2018Women on the Course of Zayed\u2019 are held in conjunction with the Year of Zayed initiative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRTA views female employees as essential and vital contributes to the achievement of RTA\u2019s strategic objectives. Emirati women are living their golden age as they are privileged by the unlimited support of our leaders who spared no effort in empowering and assisting them to take the highest positions at all levels. They have become key partners of the modern urbanization of the UAE.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo mark the event, several pioneer female employees of RTA have been felicitated for their innovative efforts in steering RTA\u2019s strategic drive. A discussion panel was held hosting one of RTA\u2019s female leaders to shed light on her professional career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRTA is always keen on enriching and empowering female staffs to make them more confident in their abilities.
