Funds raised at Dubai\u2019s premiere charity event will support essential initiatives by UAE-based global philanthropic organization, Dubai Cares, and the Global Gift Foundation, to create positive change in the development, welfare, health and social inclusion of the most vulnerable people around the world.<\/p>\n
Founder and creator of the Global Gift Foundation and Chair of the Global Gift Gala, Maria Bravo, will lead a cavalcade of international stars down the red-carpet alongside Honorary Chair, actress, producer and philanthropist Eva Longoria Bast\u00f3n, as well as actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, actor Gary Dourdan, entrepreneur Huda Kattan and pioneer in integrative medicine and author Deepak Chopra.<\/p>\n
Adding to the glamour of the evening will be entertainment by Gary Dourdan and James Arthur, along with R&B duo Lion Babe which features Jillian Harvey \u2013 daughter of the iconic Vanessa Williams.<\/p>\n
Awards honoring their outstanding philanthropic efforts will be presented to UPL Executive Director Vikram Schroff (Global Gift Philanthropist Award), artist Sacha Jafri (Global Gift Humanitarian Award), entrepreneur Huda Kattan (Global Gift Women Empowerment Award) and General Manager of Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal M\u00e9ridien Beach Resort + Spa Pam Wilby (Global Gift Philanthropreneur Award)<\/p>\n
Dubai Cares, part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives will be partnering with the Global Gift Gala for the sixth year in a row.
