The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel Malls\u2019 new, AED800 million dining and entertainment destination, is gearing up for New Year\u2019s Eve and Dubai\u2019s peak travel season after a successful grand opening, attended by more than 10,000 people.<\/p>\n
The world-class, waterfront venue \u2013 home to 70 restaurants, shops and other attractions \u2013 took Dubai by storm last weekend when international music superstar Enrique Iglesias performed live on a purpose-built stage on the water to celebrate its opening.<\/p>\n
Now, The Pointe is counting down to its 2019 celebrations, which include a host of dining and entertainment options \u2013 and Dubai\u2019s best view of Atlantis, The Palm\u2019s famous New Year fireworks display. There will also be a live DJ, roaming entertainment and prizes to be won. Guests are advised to book early to secure their spot.<\/p>\n
Set against a stunning backdrop overlooking turquoise blue waters, The Pointe spans over 1.4 million square feet, and is set to become Dubai\u2019s new hub for seafront dining, shopping, socialising and relaxation, with a mix of food, entertainment and lifestyle offerings, the first of which are now open, with the rest opening soon.<\/p>\n
The destination is also home to a 1.5km promenade, Guy Fieri’s dine-in cinema by Reel Cinemas, a children\u2019s play area, supermarket, gyms, beauty salons and unique gifting concepts, as well as a car park for 1,600 vehicles. The Pointe will also feature a spectacular dancing fountain offering stunning, daily shows.<\/p>\n
