The Dubai Mall <\/strong>announces ART+ Series<\/strong>, an aspirational platform dedicated to showcasing exceptional forms of art, museum-worthy exhibits or one-of-a-kind heritage collections from leading brands. The initiative aims to deliver a continuous programme of outstanding exhibits throughout the year, creating renewed and elevated experiences for guests. Through a continuous showcase of culture, heritage or innovation from The Dubai Mall\u2019s leading brands, the ART+ Series further reinforces The Dubai Mall\u2019s status as a hub for the arts.<\/p>\n

Currently on display until mid-January<\/strong>, United Nude, <\/strong>known for revolutionising the very fundamentals of shoe design, delivers a truly unique ART+ exhibit with its Collaboration Shoes<\/strong> exhibit in Fashion Avenue.<\/strong>\u00a0 The collection features iconic shoes made in collaboration with famous forward-thinking artists including the late architect Zaha Hadid<\/strong>, fashion icons Issey Miyake<\/strong> and Iris Van Herpen <\/strong>and United Nude founder and creative director Rem D Koolhaas<\/strong>. Of note, guests can admire Lady Gaga\u2019s<\/strong> Fame Shoes<\/strong>, made on request by the star for her FAME campaign and bearing golden figurines embracing the 12-inch platform boots.<\/p>\n

The next ART+ Series event showcases the striking Santos de Cartier<\/strong> installation from 20th-26th January <\/strong>accessible from the waterfront promenade. In a tribute to the historic collaboration between pioneering pilot Alberto Santos-Dumont<\/strong> and Louis Cartier<\/strong> in the early 1900s, the Santos de Cartier exhibit invites guests to explore the worlds of aviation and fine watches through a multi-sensory experience as the Maison relaunches this legendary timepiece collection. At its centrepiece lies a Santos aircraft suspended in a glass cube, allowing guests to hear the roaring of the engine and a feel the subtle sensation of flying.<\/p>\n
