Radio personality Richard Dean launched a groundbreaking new book on public speaking at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2019 \u2013 CROWDPLEASER: the 100 greatest public speaking tips of all time from Socrates to Steve Jobs<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

CROWDPLEASER<\/em> brings together, for the first time, 100 classic tips, tricks and hacks on the art and science of public speaking. \u201cTo use a musical metaphor, there are many great solo albums on public speaking \u2013 but this is the first Greatest Hits compilation,\u201d says author Dean.<\/p>\n

THREE \u2018KILLER APPS\u2019 of CROWDPLEASER<\/strong><\/p>\n

CROWDPLEASER<\/em> is built around what the author calls three \u2018killer apps\u2019, developed to help anyone who\u2019s giving a presentation, pitch, public speech or press interview. They will, says Dean, \u201ctransform your talks in minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Each of the 100 lessons summarises a classic public speaking tip, such as the Steve Jobs \u2018Twitter-friendly headline\u2019 or \u2018The Wonder Woman Pose\u2019 by Harvard professor Amy Cuddy.<\/p>\n

2: Middle East Case Studies <\/strong><\/p>\n

CROWDPLEASER <\/em>reveals the winning formulas of great Arab speakers, from HM Queen Rania of Jordan to billionaire businessman Mohammed Alabbar.<\/p>\n

3: Templates & checklists <\/strong><\/p>\n

The book includes more than 70 rapid-fire exercises, so readers can apply the tips to their own presentations in minutes.<\/p>\n
