Participating hotels include\u00a0Burj Al Arab Jumeirah,\u00a0Jumeirah Beach Hotel,\u00a0Jumeirah Emirates Towers,\u00a0Jumeirah Al Qasr,\u00a0Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf\u00a0and\u00a0Jumeirah Mina A\u2019Salam\u00a0at\u00a0Madinat Jumeirah.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative by the Jumeirah Group complements the Dubai Cares \u2018We Can Teach Each Other\u2019 Ramadan campaign 2015, which emphasises the abundance of talent and resourcefulness among children in developing countries, as well as the responsibility of the international community to help empower these children through education.<\/p>\n<p>Gerald Lawless, President and Group CEO, Jumeirah Group, said: \u201cIt is most appropriate that Jumeirah Group should engage with Dubai Cares to assist children in the developing world. Jumeirah\u2019s 11,000 colleagues in Dubai come from many developing nations and I believe that this initiative reflects the generous spirit of the United Arab Emirates and, indeed, of Dubai.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the role corporate donors play in achieving the organisation\u2019s mandate, Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Cares, said: \u201cWe are very grateful to the\u00a0Jumeirah Group\u00a0for prompting their guests to invest in our programmes, thus giving young, eager children the gift of education. The UAE corporate sector has been generous while donating towards our programmes as they understand, first-hand, the impact education can have on professional and personal advancement. Education has the power to unlock the potential of individuals; it can grant them a voice and make them strong contributors to national growth. By placing education front and center, the Jumeirah Group has not only put a spotlight on the impact it can create, but also demonstrated how meaningful corporate responsibility should transcend national and cultural boundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over the past seven years, Dubai Cares, with the support of the UAE community, has been facilitating change and development in children\u2019s education in developing communities around the globe.
