Emirates continued its winning streak when it took top honours by sweeping five awards last night at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2019. The airline took home the highly regarded industry accolades for Airline with the Best First Class, Airline with the Best Economy Class, Airline with the Best Frequent Flyer Program and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East. Recognised for its operational excellence and exceptional products and services \u2013 the world\u2019s largest international airline also took home the coveted award of Best Airline Worldwide.<\/p>\n

The Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2019 were presented at a gala dinner attended by industry leading professionals and key figures from across the region. The Business Traveller Middle East awards are judged by a panel of travel experts alongside the magazine\u2019s editorial team.<\/p>\n

Emirates most recently redefined\u00a0premium travel<\/strong>\u00a0with its \u2018game-changer\u2019 Boeing 777-300ER interiors featuring \u2013 six fully enclosed First Class Private Suites with meticulous design details inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Laid in a 1-1-1 configuration, each suite has floor to ceiling sliding doors and up to 40 square feet of personal space, cutting-edge technologies, including a NASA inspired \u2018zero-gravity\u2019 seating position, \u2018virtual windows\u2019 for middle aisle suites, and a personal video-call service. The newest Boeing 777-300ER \u2018game-changer\u2019 aircraft currently flies to six global cities, including Riyadh and Kuwait.<\/p>\n

Emirates has also completed the reconfiguration of 10 Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. The multi-million dollar refurbishment included a fully refreshed economy class cabin with the latest colour palette of soft greys and blues, ergonomically designed headrests, and generously pitched seats.<\/p>\n

Emirates Skywards<\/strong>, the loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai, has over 23 million members who enjoy earning and redeeming Skyward Miles on flights, hotel accommodation, and global lifestyle brands. Earlier this year, Emirates Skywards opened a centre in Terminal 3 at DXB to function as a one-stop customer touchpoint for all new and existing members \u2013 offering consultation services for enrolment and profile creation.<\/p>\n

The airline\u2019s state-of-the-art, First Class\u00a0lounges<\/strong>\u00a0at Concourses A, B and C in DXB offer premium customers a chance to refresh using showers and enjoy savouring in gourmet cuisines.\u00a0 With a seating capacity of over 2,500 \u2013 the award winning lounge offers a business centre, a la carte dining, spa with treatment rooms, dedicated duty free area, premium cigar lounge and a complimentary shoe shine service.<\/p>\n

The Business Traveler Middle East Awards are the latest in a series of accolades won by Emirates which include the 2019 TripAdvisor Travelers\u2019 Choice\u00ae awards for Airlines, where Emirates won four awards including: Best First Class in the world, Best Regional Business Class Middle East, Best First Class Middle East; and overall Travelers’ Choice Major Airline honour for the Middle East.
