Mall of the Emirates and City Centres in the UAE are once again spreading the message of generosity and compassion this Ramadan with the \u2018Make a Difference, Together\u2019 initiative, which encourages families to come together and do good for those in need.<\/p>\n
Now in its 13th<\/sup> year, the campaign, which is in partnership with UAE\u2019s Red Crescent Society, encourages visitors to donate toys, clothes and books for the less fortunate.\u00a0Visitors can drop their contributions at the malls\u2019 donation boxes throughout the Holy Month.<\/p>\n \u201cRamadan is a time of compassion in action. Our \u2018Make a Difference, Together\u2019 campaign, which we have been committed to for more than a decade with UAE\u2019s Red Crescent Society, gives visitors the opportunity to show compassion by coming together and bringing smiles to the faces of those in need,\u201d said Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Managing Director for Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Shopping Malls (UAE, Bahrain & Oman).<\/p>\n \u201cOur initiative also aims to encourage parents to instil the value of giving rather than receiving and to create a new ritual of donation together, as a family. We encourage parents to select items that they would like to donate with their children so that they are part of the process and create great moments together this Ramadan.\u201d<\/p>\n The malls will also be transformed with elegant, traditional d\u00e9cor to mark the Holy Month. Visitors are invited to enjoy the soothing and spiritual ambiance and participate in cultural activities all month.
