As part of its celebration of Zayed Humanitarian Day, the Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) joined in cooperation with Beit Al Khair Society the \u2018Iftar Saem\u2019 campaign, which was launched to promote social equality and humanitarian works during the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n
Exemplifying goodness, solidarity, and brotherhood, Zayed Humanitarian Day falls on the 19th<\/sup> of Ramadan ever year and is held to commemorate the country\u2019s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who served as a role model for philanthropists worldwide.<\/p>\n H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy Executive Director, DGW, said: \u201cParticipating in the \u2018Iftar Saem\u2019 campaign as part of our Zayed Humanitarian Day commemoration is also our way of remembering the achievements and contributions of our founding founder, who espoused the importance of helping people from all parts of the earth. The initiative also reflects our commitment to move forward in our efforts to adopt the approach of Zayed Al-Khair, who said, \u2018We believe that the wealth that God has bestowed on us must be shared with our friends and brothers.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe are pleased to cooperate with Beit Al Khair Society in our bid to fulfill our social and humanitarian responsibilities and emphasize the value of charitable works, which act as a key component of the UAE\u2019s identity.
