His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, issued directives to launch the next edition of the World Government Summit at Expo 2020 Dubai in November 22-25, 2020.<\/p>\n
The exceptional \u201cWorld Government Summit- Expo 2020\u201d will be the biggest gathering yet since its inception with expected attendance of over 10,000 high-profile officials, 30 international organizations and 600 experts and scholars.<\/p>\n
The four-day summit, expected to draw over 100,000 participants through its diverse futuristic programmes and pavilions, aims to cement the event\u2019s status as a global platform dedicated to shaping the future of governments worldwide.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, \u201cDubai will witness a different milestone in 2020 as a major station in the agenda of over 190 countries.\u201d<\/p>\n

International cooperation <\/strong><\/p>\n His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Chairman of the Expo 2020 Higher Committee, said \u201cThanks to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai has become an attractive global destination for governments, companies and innovators with exceptional ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n He added, \u201cThe World Government Summit brings a new value to Expo 2020 Dubai\u2019s objectives in fostering international cooperation and providing knowledge exchange platforms.
