Commonly referred to as the \u2018Father of India\u2019, Ghandi is revered by many for his efforts to unite people, regardless of race or religion.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the special issuance, <strong>HE Abdulla M. Alashram, Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group<\/strong>, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we approach the anniversary of Mahatma Ghandi\u2019s birthday, Emirates Post is issuing a stamp as a celebration of the values Ghandi embodied and upheld during his lifetime.\u00a0 The stamp serves as a reminder of his significant contribution to human development, and his teachings of tolerance and respect is one of universal relevance.
