The dedicated dnata team significantly exceeded its target by completing a total of 49,800 km and raising some $400,000 for charity through raffles, bake sales and exercise classes held around the main event.<\/p>\n<p>Across its global network, dnata partnered with different registered charities in the areas of education, wildlife conservation and humanitarian work. Each team selected the charity that their donations would benefit, based on their own community preferences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gary Chapman, President of dnata,<\/strong>\u00a0said: \u201cSince we launched dnata4good, our global corporate social responsibility programme, thousands of our colleagues have supported our charity partners through fund-raising, donations and even front-line volunteering in the communities in which we operate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018dnata runs world\u2019 has mobilised us globally at a whole new level and I thank all my colleagues, dnata\u2019s partners and sponsors, for their contribution to this initiative\u2019s success. Together, we\u2019ll continue our efforts to make a positive impact on the world around us. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the UAE, dnata\u2019s 3,000 employees ran a total of 17,000 km and raised funds in support of Dubai Cares\u2019 educational programs in developing countries.<\/p>\n<p>dnata is one of the world\u2019s largest air services providers.
