With evening shows taking place 6 and 7 November 2019 and two daily performances on 8 and 9 November 2019, these final dates present the last opportunities for musical theatre aficionados, opera first timers and Phantom fans to see this fascinating show performed in the iconic Dubai Opera. With outstanding performances delivered by one of musical theatre\u2019s most exciting talents, Jonathan\u00a0Roxmouth\u00a0playing The Phantom; rising star Claire Lyon, playing female protagonist \u2018Christine\u00a0Daa\u00e9\u2019 and\u00a0Matt\u00a0Leisy\u00a0playing the role of Raoul\u00a0Vicomte\u00a0de\u00a0Chagny, visitors to Dubai Opera will be wowed by this award-winning production. Flamboyant scenery, stunning choreography by\u00a0Jee\u00a0Jee\u00a0Noh, and more than 230 costumes by the late international designer Maria\u00a0Bj\u00f6rnson\u00a0will\u00a0take to the stage for the final time in Dubai this weekend.<\/p>\n

The original cast recording, with over 40 million copies sold worldwide, is the bestselling cast recording of all time.<\/p>\n

Based on the classic novel Le\u00a0Fant\u00f4me\u00a0de\u00a0L\u2019Op\u00e9ra\u00a0by Gaston\u00a0Leroux,\u00a0THE PHANTOM\u00a0OF THE\u00a0OPERA\u00a0tells the tale of a disfigured musical genius, known as the Phantom, who haunts the Paris Opera House. Mesmerised by the talent and beauty of a young soprano, Christine, the Phantom lures\u00a0her as his prot\u00e9g\u00e9 and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine\u2019s love for Raoul, the Phantom\u2019s obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness and passions collide.<\/p>\n
