\u00a0<\/strong>The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge,<\/a>\u00a0powered by\u00a0SKODA<\/a>\u00a0and part of the\u00a0UCI Gran Fondo Series<\/a>\u00a0is now in its 10th<\/sup>\u00a0year and in an aim to become more inclusive for people of all age groups and experience, a new 38km Community Ride has been introduced. The race will begin at 7:40am on Friday 29th<\/sup>\u00a0November at the Dubai Autodrome and every participant will be awarded a medal upon completion of the ride.<\/p>\n

Who can join the community ride?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The aim of this ride is to promote the sport combined with a fun opportunity to cycle with friends and family (aged 16 and above). Whether cyclists have recently taken up the sport or if they are getting back to cycling after a break or would like to start training for the elite category race for the future – this community event is for everyone! This ride is a participation event with a target of completing the race and celebrating with family and friends in the Spinneys Village.<\/p>\n

100km Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 1,500 cyclists took part in the three successful Build-Up Rides from September to November, as part of the\u00a0Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge<\/a>\u00a0in preparation for the ultimate 100km cycle challenge, which will be held on Friday, 29th November at the Dubai Autodrome. The race will begin at 6:10am offering iconic views of the city,\u00a0along with full police support for safety and rolling road closures on the magnificent roads of Dubai with residents cheering for the cyclists. The top 20% of the cyclists who complete the 100km race will be automatically entered in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series. Registration is closing soon!<\/p>\n
