Celebrate New Year\u2019s Eve at THE BEACH, the upbeat outdoor destination by Meraas, with its exciting line-up of events from 5.00pm on 31 December 2015 to 10.30am on 1 January 2016. The activities promise a memorable occasion for friends and families looking for a truly out-of-the-box experience.<\/p>\n

Soak in the ocean vibes at THE BEACH with Dubai\u2019s first dry dance party, \u2018Free Spirit\u2019, headlined by internationally acclaimed DJ and producer, Pierre Ravan. In addition, THE BEACH has also organised exhilarating entertainment acts – LED performers, laser shows, fire breathers, aerial acts and more \u2013 to keep visitors to the urban destination completely riveted this New Year.<\/p>\n

Saleh Al Geziry, Vice President Retail Management & Transactions, Meraas, said: \u201cTHE BEACH is a family destination and the perfect spot for people to ring in 2016. We are proud to partner with the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in this initiative \u2013 it will give people across Dubai the chance to witness an amazing fireworks spectacle.
\n\u201cAt THE BEACH we welcome people looking for a wholesome entertainment and dining experience along the shoreline. We will host activities that start early in the afternoon on 31 December and conclude on the morning of 1 January with a yoga session, in line with our theme – the celebration of health, wellness and hope for the new year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commencing from Downtown Dubai, a spectacular domino of fireworks will set off across the city, blitz past the coastline and culminate at THE BEACH. At 12:15am, all guests at the Free Spirit dance party can witness the scintillating grand finale as fireworks light up the skies over THE BEACH. Additionally, guests can also check out the festivities across the city on two large screens as well as the multimedia screens across the urban destination that beam live feeds of the fireworks. Selected restaurants at THE BEACH will remain open to serve guests through the entire event.<\/p>\n

Party-goers and health enthusiasts can kick start the first day of 2016 on a Zen note as they are invited to breathe, bend and bliss out with a meditation session with Pierre Ravan at 8:30am. This will be followed by a special hour-long yoga session comprising 1,000 yogis in partnership with XYoga at 9:30am. Registration for the session will begin on-site at 7:30am.
\nOpen to the public absolutely free of cost, THE BEACH advises the use of public transport to avoid traffic snarls at the destination.<\/p>\n
