Standard Chartered Bank has been announced as the Title Sponsor of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup (Dubai Open) Tournament in 2020. The Dubai Open is the most coveted trophy of the five tournaments under the umbrella of the prestigious Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series.<\/p>\n

The highly anticipated\u00a0Standard Chartered Gold Cup 2020<\/strong>\u00a0will run from 16 February to 6 March, with participation from some of the world’s top teams and players, making it a stellar highlight on Dubai’s 2020 polo calendar.<\/p>\n

The Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series tournaments, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, has grown to become the region’s premier set of polo competitions attracting VIPs, celebrities, society figures, corporate executives and members of the press from around the world.<\/p>\n

The Dubai Open \u2014 now in its eleventh edition \u2014 is certified by the World Polo Tour (WPT) since 2012 and played under the banner of the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA), adhering to its rules and provision of its umpires.
