Dubai Holding has launched a series of inspirational video stories to highlight the #MyCity_MyRace campaign, which aims to calls on male and female Emiratis with different fitness levels to participate in the Dubai Marathon\u2019s categories: 10KM, 42KM, and Wheel Chair. This initiative is driven by Dubai Holding\u2019s ongoing commitment to increasing involvement of Emiratis and the community as a whole in wellness programmes across the UAE. It is also a key part of the Group\u2019s drive to positively influence attitudes towards sports, especially within the growing younger generation, so that they adopt healthier lifestyles.<\/p>\n
In this video, meet Abeer Alkhaja, Emirati personal trainer and the Manager of Media Section at Dubai Sports Council. Alkhaja takes us through her five-year transformation; how her perseverance, dedication and hard work led her to run and complete the 10km race. As a young female Emirati, Abeer is calling for Emirati\u2019s to proudly come together to represent their nation this globally renowned race as part of Dubai Holding\u2019s 2020 \u201c#MyCity_MyRace\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n
