Coca-Cola Arena hosted two epic concerts in 24 hours as part of the Closing Celebrations of the 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Dubai Shopping Festival as Bahraini\/Saudi legend, Rashed Al Majid, acclaimed Iraqi singer Majid Al Mohandis and American superstar, John Legend wowed fans across two nights.<\/p>\n

The Middle East’s first ever indoor multipurpose arena, located at Dubai’s City Walk by Meraas witnessed regional superstars, Rashed Al Majid and Majid Al Mohandis perform to a sell-out crowd on Thursday 30th<\/sup>\u00a0January whilst American icon, John Legend \u2013 fresh from his performance at the Grammy Awards – returned to Dubai with a stunning show on Friday 31st<\/sup>\u00a0January.<\/p>\n

John Legend was also joined by Faia Younan, one of the region’s brightest talents making the two concerts a celebration of regional and international talent.<\/p>\n

Coca-Cola Arena became centre stage for the 2020 edition of Dubai Shopping Festival’s Closing Celebrations, further enhancing the venue as Dubai’s home of live entertainment and continuing its vast line up of diverse content that has been a staple ingredient since the arena’s opening in June 2019.<\/p>\n

The annual Dubai Shopping Festival has become a key event\u00a0in Dubai for residents and tourists\u00a0<\/strong>as the city is transformed into a must-visit destination. The emirate becomes a stage for live concerts with international superstars, dazzling fireworks displays, citywide raffles, a whole host of events for the family and unbeatable retail experiences.<\/p>\n

With Coca-Cola Arena ideally located in City Walk by Meraas, surrounded by hotels, transport links and entertainment options the 17,000-capacity venue was able to demonstrate its unique ability to quickly transform from one event to the next in less than 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Comprising of state-of-the-art load in and out infrastructure and a unique rigging solution that incorporates a roof weight load capacity of 190 metric tonnes, Coca-Cola Arena can impressively host a vast variety of live events one day to the next meaning fans in the region can enjoy regular world-class live experiences in a purpose built indoor arena for the first time.<\/p>\n

Coca-Cola Arena’s unrivalled line up of diverse content continues with international Latino superstar, Maluma bringing his 11:11 world tour to the venue on February 14th<\/sup>\u00a0before Arab Hope Makers is staged at Coca-Cola Arena on February 20th<\/sup>. A K-Pop super concert headlined by Super Junior takes place on March 20th<\/sup>\u00a0before acts such as Russ (March 27th<\/sup>), Louis Tomlinson (April 18th<\/sup>) and Iron Maiden (May 27th<\/sup>) visit the arena in the coming months.<\/p>\n
