{"id":27082,"date":"2020-02-05T12:57:41","date_gmt":"2020-02-05T08:57:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.dubaicityguide.com\/site\/?p=27082"},"modified":"2020-02-05T12:57:41","modified_gmt":"2020-02-05T08:57:41","slug":"women-riders-world-relay-ends-on-a-high-note-at-atlantis-the-palm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.dubaicityguide.com\/site\/women-riders-world-relay-ends-on-a-high-note-at-atlantis-the-palm\/","title":{"rendered":"Women Riders World Relay Ends On A High Note At Atlantis, The Palm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Women Riders World Relay (WRWR), a global, year-long relay for female bikers, and the first of its kind to be fully managed by ladies for ladies, culminated at Atlantis, The Palm on February 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0with over 50 female bikers participating in the Dubai leg.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of a year, 80 global ambassadors representing 80 different countries came together in the world&#8217;s first GPS relay,\u00a0with bikers carrying a baton across 79 countries before passing it to the final biker in Dubai\u00a0\u2013\u00a0the 80<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and final country on the route.<\/p>\n<p>With the UAE being the only\u00a0Arabic country participating,\u00a0Tarabay\u00a0Saab with over 100 Lady bikers and males&#8217; supporters flew the flag high for the UAE. &#8220;We look at WRWR as a great opportunity to highlight Dubai as the multicultural diversity hub, which empowers women to practice any sports or hobby of their choice \u2013\u00a0including motorcycling.
