\u2013 Bring the Funny AGAIN\u201d!!! This time we are going bigger with international sensation Saad Haroon headlining the event\u00a0 (finalist in the world\u2019s Funniest Man Competition) flying in from Pakistan.\u00a0 Our second main feature will be Arzoo Malhotra, a female boss based in Dubai, who has taken the local scene by storm as well as going global by performing in India and Edinburgh for their fringe festival in 2019! The night will end with\u00a0 Improvisational Comedy Troupe \u201cRacy Desis\u201d taking the stage featuring Salman Qureshi, Alina Islam, Ahmed Abdulla, and Rushdi Rafeek. Local Star Actor Asad Raza Khan will be the\u00a0 special guest\u00a0 Improv\u00a0 Master for the night making it THE Comedy event post the lockdown so far!<\/p>\n

\u201cVIU Comedy Box Office – Bring the Funny AGAIN\u201d, is a show brought to you by VIU and Tall Tales Production, bringing a whole lot of comedy and fun into one night. The show is a mix of stand-up comedy specials (ala Netflix originals), and improvisational comedy\u00a0 (ala Whose line is it anyways). The show promises to be a laugh riot with no less than 4 nationalities on the cast. This includes Pakistani, Indian, Sri-Lankan, and Bahraini artists.\u00a0 The show will be in English and Hindi mix.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe first show was a hit, and people wanted more!\u201d says Asad Raza Khan <\/strong>the producer and special guest improvisation master for the show. \u201cPeople are fed up of staring at screens all day (work and then entertainment) and wanted something different. We tried putting something together to cater to these\u00a0 needs in a\u00a0 safe and responsible way and support the local arts scene. They gave us so much love in the first show, that we decided to add another one and go bigger and better!\u201d. Saad Haroon<\/strong>, who is flying\u00a0 in for the show, is excited to be back! \u201cI have come to Dubai every year for the past 15 years and every time this place amazes me more. The way people are being responsible and embracing the new normal is an example for countries all over the world!
