The AC Milan footballer,\u00a0regarded as one of the greatest defenders ever,\u00a0met with Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline.\u00a0The meeting underscored the near 15 year relationship between Emirates and AC Milan.<\/p>\n<p>Maldini, who now serves as Technical Director of AC Milan FC, was accompanied by Maikel Oettle, Sponsorship Director and Casper\u00a0Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer at the football club.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Emirates extended its support for AC Milan until the end of the 2022\/23 season. \u00a0As part of the extension of the airline\u2019s partnership with the club, the\u00a0Emirates signature \u2018<i>Fly Better\u2019<\/i>\u00a0logo continues to prominently appear on the front of club\u2019s jerseys across all of the season fixtures.\u00a0In addition to being shirt sponsors, Emirates also has highly visible branding across San Siro Stadium, in addition to ticketing, hospitality and other marketing rights.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership also reinforces Emirates\u2019 commitment to Italy, which the airline has been proudly serving for almost 30 years. Emirates currently operates daily flights to Milan, and four weekly flights to Rome, and is safely and gradually growing its operations in line with passenger and cargo demand.<\/p>\n<p>Emirates first signed a sponsorship agreement with AC Milan in September 2007. The following year, the relationship was elevated to Top Institutional Sponsor.
