The Middle East\u2019s biggest celebration of fitness and wellness, Dubai Active presented by FitnGlam,<\/strong> will return to Dubai later this month from 28th<\/sup> to 30th<\/sup> October with its most exciting event line up yet, and is set to unite some of the world\u2019s leading fitness stars and wellness influencers around the topic of body positivity.<\/p>\n

Held in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, this year\u2019s Dubai Active will welcome back leading American Instagram star and PWR fitness trainerKelsey <\/strong>Wells,<\/strong> who will be joined by fellow American and Evolve Nation trainer, Heba Ali,<\/strong> as well as Grace Beverley<\/strong>, the British founder of leading fitness app, Shreddy. The MENA region\u2019s first curvy model Ameni Essebi<\/strong>will also add to the show\u2019s headliners, along with well-known Dubai based fitness influencers and businesswomen Gbemi Giwa<\/strong>, <\/strong>Ailin Shah<\/strong> and Ewa Golan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Uniting at Dubai Active from across the globe, this year\u2019s headliners will be promoting the important themes of body confidence and body positivity, diversity and inclusion, mental health awareness, and mindfulness, through the show\u2019s stellar line up of topical and interactive events,workshops and talks that will take place over the action-packed three days.<\/p>\n

Ahead of her highly anticipated return, <\/strong>Headliner at Dubai Active, Kelsey Wells commented:<\/strong>\u201c<\/em>Dubai Active in December 2019 was the last in person event <\/em>that <\/em>I was able to do,<\/em> so<\/em> returning to headline the <\/em>s<\/em>how again this year for my first in person event in almost two years, feels very full-circle. I had a wonderful experience at the last Dubai Active and I feel a deep connection to the incredible women <\/em>in<\/em> the Middle East.<\/em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

She added:<\/strong> \u201cI have changed and grown a lot over the past two years, as I know all women have. I feel more passionate than ever about my calling to help women redefine fitness and use it as a tool for self-empowerment.\u00a0 I am honored to be returning to Dubai to spend more time with women in the Middle East \u2014 empowering each other in celebration of our health, fitness, and well-being, in a deeper and more impactful way than ever before.”<\/p>\n

Presented by Dubai\u2019s newest female only super club, FitnGlam,<\/em>Dubai Active will be full of opportunities for attendees to level up their fitness knowledge,meet their favourite fitness influencers and elite trainers from around the world, and take part in unlimited free fitness classes such as Yoga,HIIT Training, Zumba and <\/em>Dance Cardio<\/em> that will run back to back over the weekend. The classes will be held in the FitnGlam<\/em> Dubai Active arena and on the Shreddy<\/em> stage, so people can experience what it is like to be a member of one of the leading fitness apps in the world, with their best trainers taking to the stage all weekend. Some of Dubai\u2019s most popular gyms and studios will also host classes including FitnGlam<\/em>, The Platform, <\/em>UN1T, <\/em>Fitlov, Zumba, Les Mills and Mashup Conditioning.<\/em><\/p>\n

Founder of FitnGlam, Helena Hijazi commented: <\/strong>\u201cOur number one goal at FitnGlam is to build a strong community of empowered women, so to be a part of such an important event that is passionate about uniting and educating the fitness community is just amazing. The Spinney\u2019s stage will also return for 2021 and will host a range of interesting talks on topics such as nutrition and gut health, building an online presence, mental health<\/em>&<\/em> wellness, body confidence, goal setting and hormone management<\/em>, with a particular focus on the all important topic of feminism and female health<\/em>.<\/em> Attendees will have the chance to ask questions to the stellar line up of speakers about their training regimes, health and nutrition advice, and how to build a business on social media.<\/p>\n

Dubai Active will also host global functional fitness competition, Turf Games for their biggest ever competition in the Middle East, inviting athletes of all levels to battle it out in the two competitions that will take place over the weekend. The Turf Games Engine<\/em> competition will take place on Thursday 28th<\/sup> October and will challenge individuals to compete in aerobic endurance style workouts, and the Turf Games Pairs Combine<\/em> competition will run across Friday 29th<\/sup> and Saturday 30th<\/sup> October, giving teams of two the chance to prove their strength and fitness levels in back to back workouts over a 55 minute time frame.<\/p>\n

Leading fitness brands such as, GoldsponsorsBefit and BiOptimizers, Yoga sponsor FIJI Water, Silver sponsor Pocari Sweat,water partner Lauretana, as well as L\u2019Couture, Beyond Resilience,Zumba, Myzone, Theragun, Aetrex<\/em>and GymNation<\/em> will also be exhibiting over the weekend, giving people the chance to discover more about the products and brands.<\/p>\n
