{"id":4591,"date":"2017-03-26T06:34:50","date_gmt":"2017-03-26T06:34:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.dubaicityguide.com\/site\/?p=4591"},"modified":"2017-03-26T06:34:50","modified_gmt":"2017-03-26T06:34:50","slug":"enoc-participates-in-earth-hour-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.dubaicityguide.com\/site\/enoc-participates-in-earth-hour-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"ENOC Participates In Earth Hour 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development initiatives, Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC Group) participated in Earth Hour 2017, observed worldwide on March 25, 2017 from 8.30 pm to 9:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>In an effort to help reduce electricity consumption, the initiative included switching off lights for an hour at all forecourts, convenience stores, Quick Oil Change, carwash areas, and pylon signs across all 115 ENOC service stations in Dubai and Northern Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, non-essential electric appliances and lights at ENOC\u2019s headquarters and other assets were switched off during the same period, to reduce consumption.<\/p>\n<p>His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, said: \u201cOver the years, we have consistently underlined our commitment to the UAE\u2019s vision of \u2018Green Economy for Sustainable Development\u2019.
