From entertaining fans online with his virtual comedy club to gracing the big screen, South African award-winning comedian, Dr Riaad Moosa has certainly kept his fans entertained for the past two years.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

But there isn’t anything quite like a live stage experience and he returns to Dubai soil with a unique comedy experience on the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0of October 2022 at The Theatre, Mall of Emirates.\u00a0 The show is a double feature of live stand-up comedy and a special ‘Comedian’s Cut’ screening of his hit film, New Material.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

As an award-winning comedian, actor, writer and presenter, Riaad Moosa is one of South Africa’s most popular and acclaimed comedians \u2013 and he happens to be a qualified medical doctor too.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

“I’ve been cooped up doing virtual shows for 2 years and I’m thrilled to be able to perform to real people instead of emojis on my screen and to hear some real laughter instead of LOLs in the comment section.\u00a0 I’m excited to be back on the big stage and to finally show my film to my Dubai fans<\/i>,” shares Riaad.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

New Material is the sequel to the smash hit, Material, a hilarious and heart-warming film about a dutiful young Muslim man who moonlights as a stand-up comedian.\u00a0 The film also stars Schalk Bezuidenhout, Joey Rasdien, Zakeeya Patel, Denise Newman and media personality, Shashi Naidoo.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
