With just 10 days until the kick off to the 2023 Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge season, held in partnership with Dubai 92 and the Dubai Sports Council, cyclists across the United Arab Emirates are gearing up for the return of the local classic.<\/p>\n
TheSpinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge has quickly become one of the Middle East\u2019s premium sporting events. Participating riders will stand the chance to earn the coveted yellow jersey \u2013 produced by the event\u2019s official cycling apparel partner, Ciovita \u2013 which will be awarded to the leading male and female cyclists prior to each race.<\/p>\n The Aster Pharmacy BIG 5 competition boasts a range of other benefits, including exclusive prizes, finisher medal and bespoke race packs, a leader board ranking and priority parking. The 2021 DUBAI BIG 5 competition was a remarkable series with several leadership changes throughout, before Gregory Simpson and Babita Khatri took home first place as male and female champions.<\/p>\n The main race elite category saw Simon Henley, from Great Britain, and Egyptian female athlete, Ebtissam Zayed, cross the finish line in first place. Twenty-two-year-old Lian Aucamp, and 19-year-old Aurora Mantovani were the fastest in the male and female Under 23 Elite categories.<\/p>\n
