The Global Village dancers exploded out of the cars to perform a flash mob in front of the delighted crowds.<\/p>\n<p>The dancers moved into the park, and the countdown to the opening began. Season 27\u2019s first guests entered Global Village to the wild beat of \u2018AAINJAA&#8217;, the extraordinary percussion group from Bogot\u00e1, Colombia, as confetti and streamers rained down on them. The first firework display of the season completed the night\u2019s celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>Season 27 welcomed a record number of guests to the 27 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures from around the world.
