The late Queen Elizabeth conferred him with the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1999 and subsequently singled him out for a knighthood in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>The 82-year old singing sensation continues to inspire mass hysteria with his latest single \u2018Surrounded By Time\u2019 which topped the UK album charts in 2021. His awards include a\u00a0Grammy Award\u00a0for\u00a0Best New Artist (1966), an\u00a0MTV Video Music Award (1989), BRIT Awards for Best Male Singer and Outstanding Contribution to Music, and GQ Man of The Year award. A prot\u00e9g\u00e9 and collaborator of Elvis Presley, the \u2018King of Rock and Roll\u2019 who is said to have driven 250 miles to see Jones on stage because he was his &#8220;favourite singer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Marina Garden with vistas overlooking the Arabian Gulf offers a perfect location for guests to be put under the spell of this legendary voice, as hespearheads the launch of the elite Great Gala Night series at the world-famous 5* landmark hotel. Guests at the glamorous black-tie event will mingle with Dubai\u2019s elite.
