Global Village, the UAE and wider region’s leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, recognised partners and media professionals at its Annual Achievement Awards ceremony yesterday. Held at the Majlis of the World, the awards were presented to highlight outstanding achievements in multiple categories and acknowledge the value partners and media provide to Global Village every year.<\/p>\n

Global Village collaborates with hundreds of international partners every season to provide more exceptional experiences and a more wonderful world.<\/p>\n

\u2018Best Pavilion<\/strong>\u2019 was awarded to the EgyptPavilion<\/strong> for the genuine and rich experience showcasing this vivid culture and centuries of traditions. The beautifully constructed\u00a0Turkey Pavilion<\/strong> claimed the \u2018Best Fa\u00e7ade<\/strong>\u2019 award. The SyriaPavilion<\/strong> won the \u2018Best Cultural Show<\/strong>\u2019 award for the jaw dropping line-up of shows and performances throughout the season and the IndiaPavilion<\/strong> won the \u2018Best Craftsmanship<\/strong>\u2019 award for their talented artisans who embody the country\u2019s exceptional creative traditions.<\/p>\n

Belgrave<\/strong> was this year\u2019s \u2018Best Restaurant<\/strong>\u2019 winner, Cola Ribs<\/strong> won the \u2018Best Kiosk<\/strong>\u2019 award, Coterra Coffee<\/strong> was named \u2018Best Coffee Shop<\/strong>\u2019, and Gather On<\/strong> emerged as the \u2018Best SME Kiosk<\/strong>\u2019. Partner award wins also included House of Fear<\/strong> and Lotus Personal Care<\/strong> for \u2018Best Creative Experience<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018Best Retail Shop<\/strong>\u2019, respectively.<\/p>\n

Global Village also acknowledged the efforts and accomplishments of entrepreneurs by presenting awards to two exceptional individuals. Mustafa Sait Kaya<\/strong> was recognized as the “Most Promising Entrepreneur<\/strong>” for his concepts \u2018Etisleri Restaurant\u2019 and \u2018Doyuyo Restaurant\u2019 and Nouf Amiri<\/strong> received the “Women’s Entrepreneur<\/strong>” award for her \u2018Love Mhashy\u2019 kiosk.<\/p>\n

The awards ceremony also celebrated media and journalists that support Global Village and its associates by sharing extraordinary tales of the individuals who work tirelessly to ensure that every season offers guests exceptional experiences.<\/p>\n

Diana Ayoub<\/strong>from Emarat AlYoum Newspaper\u00a0<\/strong>received the \u2018Best Coverage in Arabic Publication<\/strong>\u2019 award and Howeida Osman<\/strong> from Kul Al Usra Magazine<\/strong> won the \u2018Best Article in Arabic Publication<\/strong>\u2019 award. Santhini Menon<\/strong> from Channel New\u00a0<\/strong>received the \u2018Best TV Coverage<\/strong>\u2019 and Nasreen Abdulla<\/strong> from Khaleej Times Newspaper<\/strong> won \u2018Best Article in English Publication<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n

In addition, Shinoj Shamsudheen<\/strong> at Media One TV\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the award for \u2018Best Social Media Impact<\/strong>,\u2019 whilst Al Ittihad Newspaper<\/strong>\u2019s Mustafa Abdulazim<\/strong> was recognised in the \u2018Excellence in Media<\/strong>\u2019 award. AlBayan Newspaper<\/strong>\u2019s Shireen Farouq<\/strong> won in the \u2018Media Creativity<\/strong>\u2019 category, while The National Newspaper<\/strong>\u2019s Christopher Whiteoak<\/strong> received the award for \u2018Best Photography<\/strong>\u2019. Muhammad Saleh<\/strong> from Gulf Madhyamam Newspaper<\/strong> received the \u2018Best Coverage in Publication \u2013 Other Language<\/strong>\u2019. Maha Adel<\/strong> of AlKhaleej Newspaper<\/strong> andAhlamAlyacooub<\/strong> of AlArabiya TV<\/strong>received \u2018Judge\u2019s Choice\u2019 award for best article and best report<\/strong> respectively and Samir AlSaadi<\/strong> of AlFajr Newspaper<\/strong> won \u2018Media Commitment<\/strong>\u2019 award.<\/p>\n

Global Village concluded the ceremony by thanking the hard-working team behind the success of Season 27.<\/p>\n
