A brilliant 10-under-par 62 propelled Sweden’s Alexander Noren to equal the course record as he romped to a two-stroke win in the Rolex Series inaugural event \u2013 the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old claimed a staggering 1,041,940 points for the victory and catapulted from 26th to fourth position in the European Tour’s Race to Dubai rankings, as he recaptured his stunning form from towards the end of last season that saw him win four tournaments in four months. This magnificent come-from-behind performance at Wentworth has booked his place in the season-ending DP World Tour Championship Dubai, hosted by Jumeirah Golf Estates from November 16-19.<\/p>\n

Scores tumbled on Sunday as the strong winds of Friday and Saturday gave way to calm conditions and plenty of rounds in the mid-60s on a course that had a multi-million-dollar revamp following last year’s tournament.<\/p>\n
