Besides the annual ceremony, the occasion- inspired celebrations and experiences will continue through the New Year, concluding on\u00a0<strong>Sunday 5 January 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>tree lighting<\/strong> marked the start of the holiday excitement at Global Village, igniting a world of festive fun for all ages.Kicking off another staple tradition that everyone looks forward to every year, guests enjoyed the <strong>spectacular and joyous show<\/strong>,highlighted by the\u00a0<strong>grand arrival of Santa and his Elves<\/strong>, who made their entrance onto a stage built beside and around the tree. The performance featured a brief speech by Santa, set against a backdrop of themed-music, white confetti, snow and bubbles. Children had the special opportunity to meet-and-greet Santa and his helpers, while families were delighted with the chance to capture memorable photos and videos beneath the tree,embellished with beautiful decorations at the Celebration Walk. These include shiny red stockings,sweet candy canes, gift boxes and elves, each dressed in authentic cultural attire. The decorations added a true festive spirit, leaving a lasting sparkling impression on the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduced this Season 29<\/strong>, the Festive celebrations at Global Village carry on with\u00a0<strong>brand-new snow activities<\/strong> for kids and their families at the Restaurant Plaza.\u00a0<strong>Holiday shopping<\/strong> is in full swing across <strong>30 cultural pavilions<\/strong>, offering a diverse range of unique gifts that are sure to entertain every holiday wish list.
