Majid Al Futtaim\u2019s <\/b>City Centre Mirdif is inviting people to make a difference by donating to families in need on June 16 and receive a free personalised stuffed teddy bear.<\/p>\n

As part of Majid Al Futtaim\u2019s \u2018Make a Difference\u2019 Ramadan campaign this year, residents and tourists can donate books, toys and clothes for people in need from 2pm until 10pm in return for a token to build a bear of their choice for free. Visitors can drop off donations at the collection stand located in the Central Galleria on the ground floor of the mall and receive a token that will be valid on that day only. They can also record a message in their own voice to insert into the bear.<\/p>\n

Majid Al Futtaim has partnered with Red Crescent for the eleventh year for the \u2018Make a Difference\u2019 campaign, which aims to encourage people to donate to charity during Ramadan. The campaign is in line with the \u2018Year of Giving\u2019, an initiative by UAE\u2019s President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to develop programmes that celebrate the virtues of giving and create a spirit of philanthropy among residents of the country.<\/p>\n
