Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Crown Prince of <a href=\"https:\/\/dubaiverse.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dubai<\/a>, Deputy Prime Minister &amp; Minister of Defense of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uaetoday.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UAE<\/a>, and organized as per the Directives of H.H. Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Chairman of Dubai Sports Council.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div class=\"v1WordSection1\">\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The Organizing Committee has ratified the program of the various competitions of the Tournament, which takes place annually at Nad Al-Sheba Sports Complex during the Holy Month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Participants in the 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the Tournament will compete in 11 sports games; these are: volleyball, padel, jujitsu, fencing, wheelchair basketball, running, cycling, tug of war, obstacle challenge, in addition to other two competitions added recently; these are: badminton and the running &amp; shooting (laser run).<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Registration of players &amp; teams continues through the Tournament&#8217;s official website:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasst.ae\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.nasst.ae<\/a>\u00a0for participating in all sports competitions of the event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Volleyball Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The volleyball competition will kick off on the 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan &amp; continue up to the 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0day of this Holy Month. Registration of players continues up to 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0March 2025. Each team is allowed to register a maximum of 14 players and 10 players minimum. Players&#8217; age should be 18 years old or above, on the date of the launch of the competition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Participating teams will be categorized into two groups, each group comprises four teams. Matches in the groups&#8217; stage will be played as per the one\u2013round league system. The 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0placed teams of each group will qualify to the semi-final stage,<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The semi-final matches will be contested according to knockout system. The two winners of the semi-final will contest the final match, while the two losers will play the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0place match.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Wheelchair basketball competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The wheelchair basketball competition will take place from 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 19<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan The qualifiers stage to launch at Dubai Club for People of Determination, while the final stages will be held at Nad Al-Sheba Sports Complex. Registration door will close on 14<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Feb. 10 teams, composing of locals &amp; expatriates, are allowed to register in the competition and will be classified into two groups as per the draw, scheduled on 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March. Each team to comprise eight players; four of them are from people of determination category, while the other four players are non-people of determination, who should be among the staff of the participating department. The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation&#8217;s rules &amp; regulations are applicable in managing all matches of the competition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Running &amp; Shooting Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The shooting &amp; run competition (Laser Run), which has been added for the first time to the NAS Sports Tournament, will be held on the 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan. Registration continues up to 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March. Participation is allowed for Individuals of all categories &amp; age groups of locals &amp; expatriates from the UAE, alongside the Gulf Cooperation Council&#8217;s citizens from the age of 6 to 59 years old. Participants will compete in 10 categories; these are: U 9 &amp; 11 category where contestants are decided to make shooting twice with both hands at a distance of 5 M and running twice for a distance of 300 M \/ U 13 category with shooting three times at a distance of 5 M &amp; running three times for a distance of 300 M \/ U 15, U17, U 19, U 29, U 39, U 49 &amp; U 59 categories where shooting varies between 2 to 4 times at a distances of 5 to 10 M, and running for a distance of 600 M from 2 &amp; 5 times. The competition is managed as per the UAE Modern Pentathlon Federation&#8217;s rules &amp; regulations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Padel Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The padel competition will launch from 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0to 19<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan. Participants will compete in three padel competitions, including 6 categories. These are the UAE Padel Federation competitions, which comprise men&#8217;s &amp; women&#8217;s categories with a 20-point ranking. Participation in these categories are open to all male &amp; female players, with exception to the best player in the UAE Federation&#8217;s ranking, male &amp; female players of the national teams, besides male and female coaches from outside the country. The Nad Al Sheba Open competition \u2013 double will also be held. Registration is open to players from Asia and Australia, taking into account that the two players of each team should be\u00a0from the same nationality. The competition is held with participation of 32 teams. The International Padel Federation&#8217;s competition will be organized, including the golden category. Registration is through the official website of the International Federation. The international juniors&#8217; category to be held with participation of three age groups; these are: U 18, U 16 &amp; U 14. The International Padel Federation&#8217;s rules &amp; regulations are applicable in both competitions. Registration door for all padel&#8217;s competitions to close on 14<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Feb.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Running Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The 10 km, 5 km &amp; 4 km running competitions will launch on 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan. Registration continues up to 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0March. Participation in this competition is open for Emiratis &amp; expatriates and local &amp; international players from UAE. Contestants will compete in various categories; these are:\u00a0 10 km open category for Emirati men &amp; women \/ open category for men &amp; women, where participation is open for players of national teams, clubs besides teams of Police, Armed Forces &amp; Civil Defense and trainers of fitness &amp; athletic games. The 5 km running is allocated for the community category of Emirati men &amp; women \/ open category for men \/ senior male &amp; female Emiratis and expatriates (50 years old &amp; above). The 4 km juniors&#8217; category is allocated for male &amp; female youth of 13 &amp; 14 years old and male &amp; female juniors of 11 &amp; 12 years old. The competition will be managed as per the rules &amp; regulations, applicable by the UAE Athletics Federation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Cycling Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The 74 km cycling competition will be held on 14<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan at Meydan Road and different areas in Mohammed Bin Rashid City. Registration continues up to 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2025. Participation is allowed for all locals &amp; expatriates who participate in official races in UAE &amp; overseas from the age of 19 years old &amp; above. Contestants will compete in various categories; as follows: open category for men &amp; women \/ local amateurs of both genders who are affiliated to teams &amp; clubs \/ senior male &amp; female Emiratis and expatriates (50 years old &amp; above) \/ people of determination (Road bikes and hand bikes) and blinds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Fencing Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Registration for the fencing competition continues up to 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Feb. 2025. The competition will take place on 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan at the Main Hall of Nad Al-Sheba Sports Complex. Participation is allowed for Emiratis, expatriates and all local &amp; international players from UAE &amp; overseas. The competition will be ruled as per the latest version of the regulations of the International Fencing Federation. Contestants in this competition will compete in various categories; as follows: fencing sword competition &#8220;epee&#8221; for men \u2013 international \/ fencing sword competition &#8220;epee&#8221; for women \u2013 international (female Emiratis &amp; daughters of female Emiratis only).<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Badminton Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Registration for the badminton competition continues up to 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0March 2025, while the competition matches to be held on the 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan. The badminton competition has been added recently to the program of the various competitions of the Tournament. Participants in this competition will compete in 13 categories; these are:\u00a0the Emirati categories: men&#8217;s singles, women&#8217;s singles, men&#8217;s doubles, women&#8217;s doubles, mixed doubles, boys&#8217; singles, and girls&#8217; singles \u2013 U 15 \/ International categories: men&#8217;s singles, women&#8217;s singles, men&#8217;s doubles, women&#8217;s doubles, mixed doubles \/ Special Olympics: unified mixed doubles. Matches of this competition are subject to the latest Badminton World Federation&#8217;s rules and regulations. Players will be classified as per the BWF ranking, to be followed by local ranking for non-internationally ranked players. Points registration system 3 \u00d7 15 are applicable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Jujitsu Competition<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Registration for the jujitsu competition continues up to 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Feb. 2025, while the competition is scheduled on 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan. Participation door in this competition is open for all Emiratis, expatriates and local &amp; international players from UAE &amp; overseas. The competition will be held through knockout system and will be managed as per the rules, applicable in the Jiu-Jitsu International Federation. Contestants will compete in different five categories in blue, violet, brown &amp; black belts; these are: men over 18 years old for the weights of 62 kg, 72 kg, 85 kg &amp; 100 kg \/ masters over 30 years old for the weights of 62 kg, 72 kg, 85 kg &amp; 100 kg \/ women over 18 years old for the weights of 55 kg, 62 kg, 72 kg &amp; 85 kg.\u00a0 Male juniors of 16 &amp; 17 years old will compete in blue &amp; violet belts for the weights of 52 kg, 62 kg, 73 kg &amp; 85 km \/ female juniors of 16 and 17 years old will also compete in blue &amp; violet belts for the weights of 44 kg, 52 kg, 63 kg &amp; 75 Kg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">Tug of War Competition:<\/p>\n<p class=\"v1MsoNormal\">The tug of war competition is scheduled from 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of Ramadan at the sandy Pitch in Nad Al-Sheba Sports Complex. Registration continues up to 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Feb. 2025 Participation is allowed for all locals &amp; expatriates in the UAE. Each governmental entity is allowed to participate with one team only, to be composed of 12 players with eight players to participate in the match &amp; other four to remain as reserves, besides the trainer, administrator &amp; guide. Each team is entitled to replace two players after the end of each half. At least 6 players should participate in the competition. Participants are classified into governmental category, community category &amp; juniors&#8217; category. The competition will be organized in two stages, the first of which is the group stage, where each group comprises four teams. Matches of this stage will be played as per the one\u2013round league system. The second stage will be held through knock out system.
