The AsiaPacific Cities Summit & Mayors\u2019 Forum 2025 kicked off today at the Dubai<\/a> Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, with the participation of Digital Dubai, which is showcasing its pioneering experience in driving digital transformation and advancing the concept of \u201cCity-as-a-Service.\u201d<\/p>\n

Placing people at the heart of its priorities, Digital Dubai aims to reinforce the emirate\u2019s position as a city of the future; one that harnesses technology to serve humanity and build more prosperous and sustainable communities.<\/p>\n

Affirming the importance of participating in this global event, H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, said: \u201cHolding the Asia-Pacific Cities Summit & Mayors\u2019 Forum 2025 in Dubai represents a valuable opportunity to engage and exchange experience with city leaders and experts from across the region and around the world. Hosting this event at Expo City reflects the center\u2019s legacy as a landmark of human connection and a living symbol of shaping the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor Digital Dubai, this event provides an opportunity to highlight Dubai\u2019s success story in building a smart city model that is driven by data and guided by a human vision.Today, Dubai is not merely keeping pace with global transformations in artificial intelligence and digitalization, but is actively shaping their future, placing people at the very heart of this equation.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cAt Digital Dubai, and under the guidance of our wise leadership, we are moving beyond the digitalization of government, towards the digitalization of life itself. In this context, our efforts focus on transforming the concept of \u2018City-as-a-Service\u2019 into a tangible reality, where public and private entities work in harmony to deliver proactive and seamless experiences that make people\u2019s lives easier and happier.We have chosen to make artificial intelligence a partner in development, not just a technology and to make data the living language of the city, a language through which Dubai breathes, learns, and continuously evolves.\u201d<\/p>\n

His Excellency further highlighted the human dimension of Dubai\u2019s digital journey, saying:\u201cOur vision goes beyond building an advanced digital environment, it is about building a system of trust that strengthens human connections and enhances people\u2019s quality of life. No matter how advanced technology becomes, its true value lies in its ability to improve human life and bring happiness to people.Today, Dubai once again reaffirms its position as the city of the future; a city that unites human intelligence with artificial intelligence, investing in both to write a new chapter of leadership, innovation, and cultural excellence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Digital Dubai\u2019s participation in the summit includes key events and sessions that highlight its role as a catalyst for digital innovation.Among them is the session titled \u201cGovernance in Action: The Dubai Success Story,\u201d which showcases Dubai\u2019s model as a city of the future, alongside the \u201cMayors\u2019 Forum,\u201d which provides a global platform for knowledge exchange among city leaders on the latest trends in urban management and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Digital Dubai is also presenting a comprehensive case study on digital transformation and the future of cities during the \u201cCity Leaders Forum,\u201d which explores urban leadership, economic development, digital transformation, and environmental solutions.<\/p>\n

In addition, Digital Dubai is participating in the session \u201cBeyond Mega Events,\u201d which discusses how cities can create lasting legacies from major global events and link them to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure enduring social and economic impact.<\/p>\n

In the session titled \u201cFrom Data Abundance to Intelligent Use,\u201d Digital Dubai showcases the potential of artificial intelligence in enhancing the city experience and improving the quality of public services.<\/p>\n

The authority also takes part in \u201cAgents of the Future: Reimagining City Services through Agentic AI, which explores the next generation of AI-powered city services, and in \u201cData as Capital: Building a Sustainable Data Economy,\u201d which focuses on unlocking value and driving innovation through data as a key enabler of sustainable growth.<\/p>\n

The Digital Dubai Youth Council is also participating in the Young Professionals Forum under the theme of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, collaborating with their international peers to develop innovative solutions for the future of smart cities.<\/p>\n

Throughout the summit, Digital Dubai is showcasing a range of its flagship innovations and pioneering digital services that embody its vision of building an integrated digital city. Among these are UAE<\/a> PASS, the nation\u2019s first secure digital identity that enables users to access various government services electronically with ease and confidence, and DubaiNow, a unified platform offering over 350 smart services through a single application bringing the city\u2019s services to people\u2019s fingertips.<\/p>\n

Digital Dubai is also showcasing \u201cThe Dubai Dashboard,\u201d an integrated, AI-powered system that provides a real-time, 360-degree view of the city\u2019s performance across key sectors enabling data-driven decision-making and proactive city management.<\/p>\n

Another key initiative on display is \u201cDubai Population Now,\u201d one of the emirate\u2019s most innovative strategic projects aimed at developing a comprehensive population data ecosystem through administrative records and direct integration with government databases.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Dubai.ae, the official portal of the Government of Dubai, is being highlighted as a unified and user-friendly digital gateway that enables individuals, businesses, and visitors to seamlessly access a wide range of government services across the emirate.<\/p>\n

In the field of artificial intelligence, Digital Dubai is presenting a new generation of AI Agents; digital assistants designed to simplify employees\u2019 daily tasks by providing instant guidance, seamless support, and easy access to services and policies.<\/p>\n
