Emirates has been voted\u00a0\u2018Best Airline in the World\u2019<\/i>\u00a0for the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0consecutive year, at the esteemed ULTRAs travel awards held in Dubai yesterday. Based on votes from\u00a0Ultratravel\u2019s<\/u><\/a>\u00a0global network of 1.2 million travellers, Emirates also scooped the \u2018Airline with the Best Premium Economy\u00a0Class\u2019<\/i>\u00a0award, as well as a prestigious \u2018Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation<\/i>\u2019 presented to Sir Tim Clark.<\/p>\n

This honour from\u00a0Ultratravel\u00a0celebrates Emirates\u2019 newest cabin class, which already\u00a0holds\u00a0other global recognitions including\u00a0\u2018Best Premium Economy\u2019<\/i>\u00a0by the\u00a0AirlineRatings.com Airline Excellence Awards.<\/u><\/a>\u00a0Emirates is the only airline in the region to offer a\u00a0Premium Economy<\/u><\/a>\u00a0class,\u00a0where\u00a0customers enjoy dedicated check-in desks at the airport, luxurious cream-coloured leather seats with a generous pitch of up to 40 inches, calf rests\u00a0and footrests for additional comfort, generous meals and a premium wine selection, inflight entertainment on a 13.3-inch screen, and an intimate cabin with an exclusive feel.
