Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) registered an 18.74% year-on-year increase in electricity connection requests for commercial, residential and industrial projects through its Al Namoos service in 2025. The service provides electricity connections of up to 150 kilowatts to DEWA\u2019s accredited consultants and contractors through a two-step process completed within five days.<\/p>\n
In 2025, DEWA received 9,786 electricity connection requests while the number of its accredited consultants and contractors stood at 2,379 at the end of the year.<\/p>\n
