He said: \u201cThe Dubai World Cup represents a unique model of integration between culture and sport. It goes beyond the race to become a living space where ourheritage isshowcased within an experience that embodies national identity and reflects the depth of our traditions within a constantly evolving global context.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AlBreiki added: \u201cOur participation reflects our commitment to growing the cultural and creative industries and spotlighting the vitality of the local artistic scene, bringing our work to a worldwide audience. It also provides a platform forhomegrowntalentto innovate and excel, amplifying their presence on the international stage and cementing Dubai\u2019s standing as a global hub for the creative economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dubai Culture rolled outa series of activations themed around the Dubai World Cup. Among the highlights was \u2018Equestrian Heritage,\u2019an immersive digital experience inspired by the book \u2018For the Love of Horses\u2019 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, celebrating horsemanship as a defining element of Emirati identity. At the \u2018Roots &amp;Origins\u2019 station, designer Feryal Abdulrazzaq showcased \u2018Cultural Saddle Textile,\u2019weaving together traditional attire and handicraft techniques to tell the story of Dubai&#8217;s journey from its desert roots to a city of the future. The station also featured an interactive experience tracing the origins of equestrian culture in the UAE and the enduring bond between the landscape, Bedouin life, and the Arabian horse.<\/p>\n<p>The Gallery and Achievements section brought together an archive of famous participating horses, past winners, and standout Dubai World Cup moments, alongside key milestones in Dubai Racing Club\u2019s legacy, presented through a visual sequence that captured the elegance and competitive spirit of the sport. The \u2018Three Foundation Thoroughbred Bloodlines\u2019 section paid tribute to the origins of purebred horses and their role in establishing the strength, speed, and pedigree of racing champions across generations. Artist Amna Alketbi\u2019s\u2018Flow of Spirit\u2019 drew on the symbols and landscape of Emirati identity, while Fatema (Fay) Alkaabi\u2019s collection transformed the movement of horses into woven visual symbols that combined tradition and contemporary design.<\/p>\n<p>The showcase also embraced traditional handicrafts: Al Talli embroidery, Al Khoos (palm frond) weaving, pottery, and leather tanning, each a cornerstone of daily life for generations.
