Inspired by these timeless flavours, Emirates has curated a selection of strawberry-inspired desserts across all cabin classes, bringing the taste of the British summer to customers both in the air and on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The menu showcases the freshness and versatility of strawberries through thoughtfully crafted desserts. Customers travelling from Dubai to the UK can indulge in Honey Cake served with strawberry compote and clotted cream in First Class, Strawberry Tart with pistachio sauce in Business and Premium Economy Class, and Cream Cheese Mousse with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel in Economy Class.<\/p>\n<p>Offering something different for passengers on the return leg, flights from the UK to Dubai will offer First Class customers a classic Eton Mess featuring meringue, mascarpone cream and strawberry compote, while Business Class customers can enjoy white chocolate cheesecake with strawberry and basil confit. Premium Economy customers will be served strawberry panna cotta with strawberry coulis, while Economy Class passengers can savour a strawberry cheesecake topped with crumble.<\/p>\n<p>Emirates chefs have handpicked the Monterrey strawberry variety, for the seasonal menu, renowned for its vibrant colour and naturally sweet, rich flavour. Over 10 KG of Monterrey strawberries on Emirates flights each day are sourced from Bustanica, the world&#8217;s largest indoor vertical farm, co-owned by Emirates. A pioneer in sustainable agriculture, Bustanica uses advanced hydroponic and vertical farming technology to produce clean, nutrient-rich produce with significantly reduced water consumption. The strawberries grown in Bustanica are served onboard less than 12 hours after being picked, providing freshness you can taste in every mouthful.<\/p>\n<p>The Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge will also serve seasonal favourites including fresh strawberries and cream, strawberry lemon cake, and a selection of strawberry-inspired mocktails and cocktails, combining strawberries and fresh cut basil for a sharp, refreshing taste.<\/p>\n<p>The seasonal strawberry menu reflects Emirates&#8217; continued commitment to celebrating local cultures and seasonal ingredients through thoughtfully curated dining experiences. Throughout the year, Emirates&#8217; culinary teams continuously refresh onboard menus to showcase regional flavours, seasonal produce and destination-inspired cuisine, ensuring customers enjoy an experience that is both memorable and authentic.<\/p>\n<p>The airline partners with leading UK strawberry growers, including \u2018Blush from UK\u2019 and Hugh Lowe Farms, a family-run farm in Kent renowned for producing premium-quality strawberries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taking British strawberries worldwide<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emirates SkyCargo plays a vital role in connecting British strawberry growers with consumers in the UAE and around the world, through its extensive global network and world-class cool chain infrastructure. With two weekly freighter services from London Heathrow, one weekly freighter from London Stansted, and the Emirates passenger schedule, the airline ensures British strawberries reach international markets quickly and in peak, delicious condition.
