There is a particular moment in Dubai<\/a> when the city heads back outdoors. Lunches linger a little longer, sundowners reclaim the diary and dinner under the skyline becomes irresistible again. This October, ZEA is leaning into the season with the opening of ZEA Garden, its new alfresco hideaway in the heart of DIFC.<\/p>\n

Opening on 1 October, the Garden takes ZEA beyond its dining room and into the open air, with lush greenery, uninterrupted Burj Khalifa views and an atmosphere made for everything from late lunches and after-work drinks to unhurried dinners beneath the city lights.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t simply an extension of ZEA into the open air. The Garden has been conceived with an identity of its own – relaxed yet polished, sociable without losing its sense of intimacy, and designed for the kind of afternoons that have a habit of becoming evenings.<\/p>\n

A menu with a little wanderlust<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The terrace comes with its own menu by Executive Chef Sundeep Taucoory, taking ZEA\u2019s Mediterranean foundations somewhere more playful. Latin American and Peruvian accents weave their way through familiar favourites, creating food that feels equally at home over a quick lunch or ordered generously across the table as the sun disappears behind Downtown.<\/p>\n

Start light with Hamachi Tiradito, sharpened with aji amarillo ponzu, scallions and truffle, or Crispy Calamari with smoked paprika and lemon aioli. There is ZEA Guacamole with lime, coriander and jalape\u00f1o, alongside an Avocado Tartine layered with poached egg, feta, pomegranate and chilli.<\/p>\n

For something decidedly more indulgent, Wagyu Beef Sliders arrive with Manchego, pickles and fries, while the grill turns out a 9+ Wagyu Striploin with chimichurri and truffle fries. The Lomo Saltado brings together beef tenderloin, aji amarillo, soy and crispy potatoes, while Baby Chicken comes alive with Peruvian chilli and grilled broccolini.<\/p>\n

Seafood keeps things suitably coastal: Spaghetti de Gambas is tossed with chilli, garlic prawns, Kalamata olives and lemon, while roasted salmon is finished with aji amarillo butter, fennel, orange and feta.<\/p>\n

And because terrace afternoons deserve something sweet, dessert moves from a tropical Vegan Chia Delight with mango and passion fruit to Matcha Tiramisu with pistachio crumble and a homemade Lemon & Yuzu Sorbet.<\/p>\n

From power lunch to golden hour<\/b><\/strong><\/h2>\n

By day, ZEA Garden lends itself naturally to DIFC\u2019s rhythm – business lunches that deserve better scenery, informal meetings and afternoons away from the office.<\/p>\n

Come sunset, the mood changes.<\/p>\n

Cocktails arrive, shisha is ordered and the Burj Khalifa takes centre stage as the city begins to glow. Dinner can stretch into drinks, and drinks can quite easily become\u00a0the rest of the evening. It is this fluidity that sits at the heart of ZEA Garden: no rigid itinerary, no need to rush elsewhere.<\/p>\n

With DIFC on one side and one of Dubai\u2019s most recognisable views on the other, the Garden offers a welcome pocket of open air in the middle of the city – polished enough for an occasion, but easy enough to become a regular haunt.<\/p>\n
