14 various community & competitive sports events will take place during this weekend in different locations of Dubai, in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council (DSC).

Top on the list of these sports events are Dubai Women’s Triathlon, Neon Night Run & Pink Stand up Paddling Event.

Dubai Women’s Triathlon will be launched on Sunday 22nd Oct. 2023 at 06:00 am with distinctive participation of women of various ages, multi-nationalities & different levels who will compete in three sports competitions; these are: swimming, running & cycling. Contestants are classified into three categories; as follows: super sprint, sprint & accredited Olympics. Participants in super sprint category will compete in 400 M swimming, 10 km cycling & 2.5 km running, while participants in the sprint category will compete in 750 M swimming, 20 km cycling & 5 km running, and participants in the accredited Olympics will compete in 1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling & 10 km running.

The Neon Night Run will take place on Saturday 21st Oct. at Dubai Design District with remarkable participation of several contestants who will compete in three different distances; these are: 3 km, 5 km & 10 km in tracks which are enlighten with neon lights. Winners of the first twenty places will gain valuable prizes, as they will get a unique opportunity to spend vacations at the Maldives Island.

The Pink Stand up Paddling Event will be held at the Beach of Riviera Club in the Palm Island, on the occasion of the breast cancer awareness program.     

The Emirate of Dubai will host prominent group of young tennis stars from all over the world, who will participate in Dubai Tennis Championship; one of the tours of the Ten Pro International. The event is organized by Rackets Academy, and it will be held on 22nd Oct. 2023 at the Rackets Academy Pitches (in three different locations; these are: Atlantis Hotel, where the opening & final matches will take place / Motors City / Dubai Sports City). The Championship will be held with participation of 330 male & female players representing 50 countries from the various Continents of the world, and classified into seven age groups; these are: U 10, U 11, U 12, U 13, U 14, U 15 & U 16.  

The 5th Labor Sports Tournament, the biggest of its kind, is held under title “Their Happiness is Our Goal”, and it will continue up to 13th March 2024. Participants in the Tournament compete in 11 sports competitions; these are: basketball, football, running, arm wrestling, badminton, volleyball, swimming, tug of war, yoga, cricket & kabaddi. The football competition is organized at DUTC pitches in Jebel Ali.

The International Rugby Championship (WXV3) will be organized at The Sevens Stadium and will continue up to 28th Oct. The UAE Freestyle Ski Championship, which is taking place at the Ski Dubai Hall in the Mall of the Emirates, will be concluded on Friday 20th Oct.

The Padel Academies Cup is held at the Danube Sports Pavilion in Sheikh Zayed Road and will be concluded on Sunday 22nd Oct.

The MINA Juniors Cup Qualifiers (U 16) is taking place at Jebel Ali Sports Center in Jebel Ali and will be concluded on Saturday 21st Oct.

Dubai International Marine Club will organize the Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Championship – 43 Feet on Saturday & Sunday. The Duathalon Community Event is scheduled Saturday 21st Oct. at Dubai Parks & Resort in the Riverland. The Skoda Cycling Challenge will take place at Al-Qudra Cycling Track. Hamdan Sports Complex will host the Hamilton Aquatics Swimming Race on Saturday & Sunday. The Cigna Running & Fitness Race is held on Kite Beach.
